  I was treated to a birthday meal at this classy restaurant. Me and my husband were met by a warm smile and a good down-to-earth sense of humour. Our Waiter was really helpful and extremely accommodating. He made several recommendations about items on the menu and knew the answers to the questions we posed to him. It was refreshing to have a waiter that was passionate about the food he was serving and knowledgable about how certain dishes have been made. The only minor problem was that i found a hair in my dessert which i informed the waiter of and he apologised profusely for. I was disappointed that the bill was not reduced or a small gesture was not offered to apologise. Other that that, i would definitely go to Malmaison again as the food is delicious and light and doesn't leave you feeling bloated at the end of the meal. For a real foodie like me, it ticks all of the boxes.
